What is the ruling on the wealth of a Muslim working woman in the West, and is it permissible to perform the Hajj obligation with it?

If the money earned by a woman's work is ill-gotten (haram (definition)), it is not permissible to perform Hajj with it. However, the Hajj performed with it would be valid and fulfill the obligation according to the majority of jurists. It is stipulated for a Muslim woman's work that the work itself must be permissible, and there should be no private seclusion with a non-mahram (definition) man, no exposure of 'awrah (parts of the body that must be covered), and no risk of fitna (temptation or discord).
