The sinful relationship with the foreign girl must be severed. If the questioner was not the cause of ruining the young man's engagement, then there is no sin upon him. The conversations between the questioner and the young man are not considered an attempt to ruin the engagement, but it is not permissible to converse with a foreign woman except out of necessity and with the assurance that there will be no temptation. Even if a transgression occurred, it does not necessitate that the questioner will experience something similar. It must be understood that fiancés are strangers to each other, and interactions between them must be based on this understanding, without exceeding the limits of Islamic law.
