Do prophets not get commissioned before the age of forty, and if so, then how was Jesus (peace be upon him) raised at the age of thirty-three?

The inquirer's assertion that no prophet was sent until after the age of forty has not been reported by anyone. Indeed, Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar said: "I have not found it." And the fact that Jesus, peace be upon him, was given prophethood at the age of thirty—assuming its authenticity—does not contradict this; because prophethood after the age of forty is only a common occurrence, otherwise, John, peace be upon him, was given prophethood while he was a child. Allah Almighty says: (And We granted him wisdom while he was a child).
