The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, encouraged marriage to a woman of religious commitment, and to associate with a girl characterized by religiosity and good character. Previous relationships do not prevent this, so the girl must repent from these relationships. Divorce should not be made conditional on the wife concealing something, as this may lead to the collapse of the family or disrupt married life.
