What is the authenticity of the Hadith: "A thief was brought to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, so his hand was cut off, then he commanded it, and it was hung around his neck"?

This Hadith was narrated by Abu Dawud, Al-Nasa'i, and others, but it is flawed due to Al-Hajjaj. Ibn Al-Qattan added that the status of Ibn Muhayriz is unknown. It was not mentioned by Al-Bukhari or Ibn Abi Hatim, and Al-Albani declared it weak.
