Is it permissible for a woman to seek divorce due to her inability to engage in intercourse with her husband, who had anally penetrated her without her knowledge, and due to her aversion to him and her inability to live with him?
Anal intercourse is a grave sin and an abomination that incurs a curse. However, if it occurs without your intention or consent, you bear no sin. If the husband insists on it, he must not be obeyed, and separation between the spouses becomes obligatory if they both consent to it. If sexual intercourse is difficult due to health reasons, efforts should be made to treat them. If it is due to your discomfort, that is not permissible, as a wife is obligated to obey her husband in matters of sexual enjoyment unless there is a valid excuse. If you are unable to fulfill this, khul' (divorce at the wife's instance) or requesting a divorce is permissible. It is advisable to be patient and frank with your husband about what displeases you. Understanding requires patience, overlooking minor faults, and focusing on the good aspects, in accordance with the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "A believing man should not hate a believing woman; if he dislikes one of her characteristics, he will be pleased with another." This should be maintained along with performing adhkar (remembrances), ruqyah (incantations), and supplication.
