The default ruling is that working as an internet content moderator for programs and websites is permissible, provided that the censorship laws comply with Islamic law (Sharia). However, if these laws do not observe Sharia, but rather contradict it, then working in such a capacity is not permissible, and the money earned from it is unlawful.
