Is it permissible to shorten the prayer for someone who travels 85 km at the beginning and end of the week to his workplace at sea, and travels 120 km daily to his residence on land?

It is legislated for the traveler to shorten the four-rak'ah prayers if his journey is permissible and its distance is not less than 83 kilometers, after passing the houses of his village. It is also permissible for him to combine the common prayers (Dhuhr with Asr, and Maghrib with Isha) either by bringing them forward (jam' taqdeem) or delaying them (jam' ta'kheer). So, if the distance to work is 83 kilometers or more, shortening and combining prayers are permissible before reaching the houses of the village where he resides, and similarly on days when a distance of 120 kilometers is covered until returning to the place of residence.
