How can a wife convince her husband to allow her to honor her parents and strengthen her relationship with them, especially since he prevents her from doing so on the pretext that honoring parents is exclusive to men, despite her attempts to cite the Quran and Sunnah, and given that she suffers from this prohibition and is forced to do things behind his back?

Filial piety towards parents and obedience to the husband are both religious obligations. It is not permissible for a husband to prevent his wife from communicating with her parents and being good to them with her own money. A wife may conceal what she spends from her husband to avoid problems, but she is not permitted to steal from his money for this purpose. The wife should strive to reconcile between her husband and her family, and encourage him to help her in fulfilling her duty of piety towards them. The wife is advised to give gifts to her husband from her own money, claiming they are from her family, and to convey positive remarks about them, while avoiding the conveyance of any negative impressions.
