What is the ruling on gatherings to watch horse and equestrian shows (Al-Taburida) that include displays of horses and gunpowder, on public and private occasions?

If the aforementioned games are free from forbidden elements, then there is no legal impediment to them. Islamic law has permitted games on joyous occasions like Eid. Among the forbidden elements are: neglecting prayers and the mixing of men and women.
