What is the meaning of Ibn Taymiyyah's saying to Ibn al-Qayyim in a dream: "You are in the rank of Ibn Khuzaymah"?

Ibn Rajab, Ibn Hajar, and Al-Shawkani mentioned that Ibn Al-Qayyim saw his شيخ (teacher) Ibn Taymiyyah in a dream. He asked him about his rank, and Ibn Taymiyyah pointed to its loftiness above some of the great figures, and said to him: "And you almost joined us, but you are in the rank of Ibn Khuzaymah." This dream implies the high status of the two shaykhs, and that Ibn Al-Qayyim reached the rank of the Imam and hadith scholar, Ibn Khuzaymah.
