What is the ruling on refraining from sharing food prepared for bid'ah (innovated) holidays, such as Mawlid and Mother's Day, with family?

Refraining from eating food prepared for innovated occasions and holidays is a practical rejection of bid'ah (innovation). The preparation of food with the intention of celebrating the Mawlid and gathering people for it is a reprehensible and abominable innovation, as none of the advanced فقهاء (jurists) of Islam or scholars of humanity ever did it. Isolating oneself from the people of these occasions and refraining from participating with them is a religiously required rejection.
