Is it permissible for the husband to dispose of his wife's money, given that a brain operation has affected her concentration, without informing her children from another husband?

A person whose foolishness or mental deterioration prevents them from managing their money properly shall be interdicted. The interdiction must be ordered by a judge. Anyone with an interest in the interdiction may bring the matter before the judge to appoint someone to manage the interdicted person's money. Neither the husband nor anyone else may dispose of the wife's money unless appointed by the judge. The appointed guardian must preserve and grow the money and is prohibited from guardianship if prodigality or spending money for personal benefit is proven against him. It is advisable to consult the Sharia courts to ascertain the woman's condition and the guardian's eligibility.
