Is the obedience referred to in question No. 2536430 about performing the Fajr prayer?

The statement that whoever cannot resist sleep and wake up for the Fajr prayer will not be able to say "La ilaha illa Allah" (There is no god but Allah) in the throes of death is incorrect, as the sleeper may have a valid excuse. As for one who neglects his prayer by sleeping through it without an excuse, he is exposed to a bad ending and an inability to utter the word of monotheism, because sins are among the greatest causes of a bad ending.

A bad ending has causes and paths, the greatest of which are preoccupation with this world, turning away from the Hereafter, and deliberately committing sins against Allah Almighty. Perhaps a certain type of sin may overcome a person, extinguishing his light, so that no reminder benefits him, and death overtakes him in that state.

A bad ending does not befall one whose outward appearance is upright and whose inner self is righteous. Rather, it befalls one who has corruption in their intellect, persistence in major sins, and boldness in committing grave transgressions, so death may descend upon them before repentance. Endings are the inheritance of precedents.
