Did Sheikh Al-Albani say of Sheikh Al-Shaarawi that he was a Sufi Ash'ari?

It is not our methodology to judge people, because we are preoccupied with issuing fatwas concerning their daily problems. Moreover, judging a person requires examining all his lectures and verifying the context of ambiguous phrases and when they were uttered, and whether he said them believing in them or merely transmitted them in the course of research. It is safer to refrain from [judging] someone who has passed away, because he has gone on to what he put forth, while benefiting from his knowledge without imitating him in what might contain errors, and asking Allah for guidance to the truth.
