Is the earnings acquired from working in a company that produces plastic containers, while using raw materials that do not conform to declared specifications and recycling materials to reduce costs without the customer's knowledge, considered illicit wealth? And what is the ruling on the earnings previously acquired from this work?

It is not permissible to work in the manufacturing of packaging if the company uses low-quality materials and does not disclose that, because it is considered prohibited deception and fraud. Allah Almighty says: "And do not consume your properties among yourselves through falsehood," and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever cheats us is not of us." It is permissible to work in the permissible fields within the company, and its负责人 should be advised. As for the previous earnings, if the work was limited to fraudulent manufacturing, it is forbidden. However, one may benefit from it with repentance if they were unaware of its prohibition. If the work combined both permissible and forbidden aspects, then the salary is lawful to the extent of the permissible work.
