What is the ruling on saying: "I encompass you with Allah" when supplicating for someone, and what is the ruling on saying: "So-and-so cut off my provision"?

It is permissible to supplicate for someone by saying, "I have encompassed you with Allah (Ahattu-ka billah)," if the intention behind it is to encompass them with Allah's care and preservation. As for saying, "So-and-so cut off my provision," with the intention that they were the cause of it, while believing that Allah alone is the disposer of provisions, this is also permissible. However, it is advisable to refrain from it and instead use clearer and more eloquent language.
