How is it possible to repent and rectify one's mistakes towards a person who was intentionally harmed by words, deeds, envy, and suspicion, while ensuring that their rights will not be demanded on the Day of Judgment after the cessation of the relationship with them?

The relationship between brothers and friends should be characterized by love and avoidance of harm and envy. However, if one of them assaults the life or honor of his brother, he must offer sincere repentance and seek forgiveness from his wronged brother, if possible, and provided it does not lead to a greater evil.

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever has wronged his brother concerning his honor or anything else, let him seek his forgiveness today before there will be no Dinar or Dirham, and before his good deeds are taken for his brother. If he has no good deeds, then some of his brother's evil deeds will be taken and thrown upon him."

If seeking forgiveness leads to increased animosity, the aggressor should seek forgiveness generally without mentioning details, and increase his good deeds towards his wronged brother to soften his heart.
