What is the ruling on a female Quran teacher accepting a gift (gold ring) from a student who insisted on giving it to her, with the teacher's intention of giving it away as charity, and is it permissible for her to take it in the first place?

It is permissible to accept this gift and benefit from it through use, sale, donation, or charity; because it is not a bribe or among the gifts given to workers. Rather, it is a gift of affection or an honor for the people of the Qur'an. It has been stated in the fatwas of the Permanent Committee: "It is permissible for a Qur'an teacher to accept a gift from those who learn the Qur'an from him or from others, whether the giver's intention is for the sake of Allah and love of knowledge for Allah's sake, or with the intention of honoring him for teaching it to him."
