What is the ruling on same-sex attraction, and how should it be dealt with, and what is the legitimate solution for marriage in this case?

Everything that occurs does so by the decree of Allah, including sexual orientation. Homosexuality is condemned by sound reason and upright human nature; it is an act of the people of Lot. The Islamic Law (Shari'ah) has prescribed ways to treat those afflicted by this, among them is lawful marriage, not what is called "gay marriage," which is a form of sexual deviance.
