Is it permissible, in Sharia, to work in a pharmacy where customers are directed to another pharmacy when their medication is unavailable, in exchange for a percentage from the other pharmacy?

It is permissible for a pharmacy employee to take a commission for referring customers to other pharmacies, provided that this is done with the permission of the pharmacy owner or the person in charge. Otherwise, it is not permissible for him to do so, and he must pay the commission to the pharmacy owner. The employee must be trustworthy in guiding patients and direct them to what is best in terms of medicine and price, without betrayal or deception.
