How accurate is the prevalent saying: "A time will come when the boy will be feared for more than the girl"? Is it a Hadith or an Athar?

The aforementioned statement has not been found attributed to any scholar. However, the Salaf warned against the temptation of beardless youths and handsome adolescents. Sheikh al-Islam mentioned that Bishr al-Hafi was directed to Harb's door when a young woman asked him, but he remained silent when a handsome youth asked him. He explained this by quoting Sufyan al-Thawri: "With the young woman is one devil, and with the youth are two devils." It is obligatory for a Muslim to abandon everything that leads to temptation.
