Should an employee who has been promoted to a lower grade than he expected remain silent and be content with what Allah has provided him, or should he complain and discuss the matter with the officials?

The best approach in these matters differs according to the individual, the reality of the work, and how one progresses within it. Merely asking and discussing with officials is not considered blameworthy complaining or discontent with divine decree, as long as the heart is filled with contentment and reliance on Allah. Rather, it may be a demand for one's right and an adoption of permissible means.
