How does a worshiper place his right hand over his left in prayer?

There are two ways to place the right hand over the left in prayer:

1. To place the right palm over the back of the left palm, the wrist, and the forearm.

2. For the right hand to grasp the left.

Both of these methods have been authentically reported from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.
