Sodomy is a heinous sin among the major transgressions, and its sinfulness is magnified in . Whoever commits it must repent immediately and increase their seeking of forgiveness. If there was no penetration and no ejaculation of semen, then the fast is valid. But if ejaculation occurred due to masturbation, then it is obligatory to make up the days that were invalidated, and some scholars hold that the major expiation ( kubra) is also obligatory along with making up the days.
