The answer

The true religion is characterized by a sound creed free from polytheism and ignorance, by following the divine methodology subject to divine legislation, by avoiding sins and transgressions, and by balancing the needs of the body with the refinement and lawful control of instincts, as Salman al-Farisi explained to Abu al-Darda: "Indeed, your Lord has a right over you, and your soul has a right over you, and your family has a right over you. So give each one who has a right his due." Thus, if a Muslim corrects his belief and adheres to the teachings of his law, obeying Allah's commands, avoiding His prohibitions, and being sincere to Him, he will possess the characteristics of the true religion. Everything that deviates from the truth is falsehood, and falsehood has many degrees.
