The aforementioned hadith, "Honor your paternal aunt, the palm tree..." is fabricated. Al-Albani ruled it as fabricated in "Al-Silsilah al-Da'ifah" (The Chain of Weak Hadiths), attributing it to Al-Uqayli, Abu al-Shaykh, Ibn Adi, and others. He explained its defects, its chain of transmission, and who narrated it uniquely. He also mentioned another fabricated hadith with the wording, "Be good to your paternal aunt, the palm tree..." narrated by Ibn Adi and others. Ibn Adi and Ibn al-Jawzi ruled it as fabricated.
