Is it permissible for a pregnant woman to break her fast in Ramadan to undergo a glucose tolerance test that requires drinking a glucose solution?

If a pregnant woman fears for herself or her fetus, or if fasting becomes difficult for her, she is permitted to break her fast and make up the days she missed. In such a case, she is also allowed to take medicine.

However, if she does not fear for herself or her fetus, and fasting does not become difficult for her, then she is not permitted to break her fast merely because of pregnancy. Likewise, breaking the fast for a medical test is not permissible unless it is absolutely necessary and cannot be postponed until night.

The advice of a non-Muslim doctor is acceptable if he is trustworthy; his trustworthiness is not negated merely because he is a non-Muslim. Nevertheless, consulting a Muslim doctor is preferable.
