What is the ruling on a pregnant woman breaking her fast in Ramadan to undergo a glucose test that is not time-sensitive?

A pregnant woman is permitted to break her fast if she fears for herself or her fetus, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Indeed, Allah Almighty has relieved the traveler from fasting and half of the prayer, and the pregnant and breastfeeding women from fasting." However, breaking the fast for a sugar test is not permissible unless there is an unbearable hardship. The test should be postponed until night or after Ramadan (definition), unless the intention is merely to take a blood sample, as this does not invalidate the fast. If she breaks her fast without a valid excuse, she commits a sin and must repent, seek forgiveness, and make up for that day.
