What is the ruling on children agreeing to leave their deceased mother's house as a memorial to her and not dispose of it?

If the heirs are adult and of sound mind, and they agree to keep the house, there is no sin upon them in that. However, if there is a minor among them, the matter should be referred to the court to appoint a guardian who will manage the minor's share and act in their best interest, whether by selling the house and receiving their share or by keeping it.
