Is feeling anger or hatred upon seeing churches, pagan temples, or people who embrace religions other than Islam (such as someone wearing a cross or a pagan symbol) considered correct and not contradictory to the doctrine of Al-Wala' wal-Bara' (Loyalty and Disavowal)?

A believer's love for God necessitates loving what God loves and hating what He hates. God hates disbelief (kufr) and its adherents. Nevertheless, a Muslim's hatred of disbelief and its rituals does not contradict compassion for its adherents and striving to guide them, as the Prophet (peace be upon him) did. Moreover, this hatred does not permit harming non-belligerent disbelievers, as Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) enjoined against harming monks who had isolated themselves from people.
