Does the fact that hijab is not one of the five pillars of Islam make it less important?

The hijab is obligatory for women, as they are commanded to cover their adornment—including their face, chest, and other forms of adornment—to protect them and safeguard them from degradation and dishonor. Since women are objects of desire and attraction for those with corrupted hearts, if a woman uncovers herself and displays her adornment, desires will follow her, and people will become attached to her, which leads to an increase in immoral acts. It has been commanded by His saying, the Almighty: "And let them draw their headcovers over their bosoms." The khimar is what hangs down from the head to cover the face, and the jilbab is the garment with which she covers herself. And His saying, the Almighty: "And when you ask them for something, ask them from behind a screen," is to protect women from being manipulated by people.
