What are the conditions that a film must meet for watching it to be permissible (halal), and what are the characteristics that, if present in it, would make watching it impermissible (haram)?

For it to be permissible to watch movies, they must be free from what Allah has forbidden, either sensually or in content. Therefore, it is not permissible to watch movies that mock religion or its adherents, or that contain裸露 images or unveiled women, or that promote free mixing and singing accompanied by music, or that promote falsehood. Every movie that contains a legal transgression is impermissible to produce, assist in, sell, buy, or watch.
