What is the ruling on "photoshoots" that involve taking souvenir pictures of two or more people in public places and displaying them on social media?

Photoshoots, which are professional photography sessions in selected locations, fall under the same ruling as all other digital photography. If the photos are not printed and remain stored or displayed online, then there is no objection to them. It is stipulated for their permissibility that they are not accompanied by anything forbidden, such as photographing women or exposing awrah (private parts), or extravagance and wastefulness.
