Mastering the Arabic language is easy for anyone who strives for it. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed, knowledge is acquired through learning, and forbearance is acquired through striving for forbearance. Whoever seeks good will be given it, and whoever guards against evil will be protected from it." Among the important books in grammar (Nahw) and morphology (Sarf) are: Al-Alfiyyah by Ibn Malik, along with a commentary such as Ibn Aqil's. This should ideally be preceded by reading Al-Muqaddimah Al-Ajurrumiyyah or Qatr al-Nada. Among the important books concerning the language and its vocabulary are: Muwat'at al-Fasih (a poetic rendition of Thaalab's Fasih) and Asas al-Balaghah by Al-Zamakhshari. Practical application and extensive reading of contemporary literary works, as well as reading and contemplating the Quran, are also beneficial.
