What are the devil's first steps toward indecency?

The first steps of Satan towards immorality begin with the glance. This is why Allah commanded the believers to lower their gaze and guard their private parts, because incidents begin with a glance, followed by a fleeting thought, then a step, and finally, a sin. It has been said: "Whoever guards their glances, thoughts, words, and steps has secured their religion."
