Anger does not prevent the occurrence of divorce as long as the person is aware of what he is saying and is not overwhelmed by his mind. If you utter a divorce while being aware, your divorce is effective. The ruling on repeating the utterance of divorce (once or thrice) depends on your intention; if you intended three divorces, then three occurred. If you intended one or had no intention, then it is one. This is according to the majority of scholars, while some scholars are of the opinion that only one divorce occurs. If you did not intend three divorces, you can reconcile with your wife before her waiting period (iddah) expires.
