Is the attribution of the book "Al-Sunnah" to the son of Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal accurate, and what is the extent of the validity of what is stated therein, namely that Abu Hanifa al-Nu'man was a Jahmi and a Murji'?

The book "As-Sunnah (definition)" by Abdullah ibn Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal has been published in several editions, and some researchers have discussed the criticism of Imam Abu Hanifa within it. Although some scholars have indeed criticized him, those who affirmed and praised him are more numerous. Sheikh Salih Al-Sheikh is of the view that what was attributed to Abu Hanifa in this book regarding the creation of the Quran and similar matters was due to the فتنة (tribulation) of the creation of the Quran at that time, and some of it was incorrectly transmitted, with certain things attributed to him of which he was innocent. Subsequently, scholars unanimously agreed not to mention Imam Abu Hanifa except with goodness and praise. When "As-Sunnah" was printed, Sheikh Abdullah ibn Hasan (definition) Al-Sheikh removed the chapter that discusses Abu Hanifa, deeming it a matter of ijtihad (definition) (independent reasoning) that had its specific time, and he considered this to be part of legal wisdom. This was supported by Sheikh Salih Al-Fawzan, who regarded the removal of the chapter as imperative and a matter of sound Islamic policy.
