What did the last man to leave Hell and enter Paradise do in this world, what were his sins, were they related to creed or not, and did he bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and did he pray, give zakat, fast, and perform Hajj?

The story of the last man to enter Paradise is authentically narrated in Al-Bukhari and Muslim. No details were mentioned about his deeds or sins, but he was a monotheist, and no polytheist will enter Paradise. It also appears that he was among those who performed prayer, as the angels who emerge from the Fire recognize people by the marks of prostration. The hadith that mentions some people who never did any good before entering Paradise is interpreted to mean that their good deeds were not complete, or that they had an excuse, or that it refers to those who performed prayer.
