It is not possible to determine the legal and criminal responsibility of a mother suffering from a mental illness for the death of her child without knowing the extent to which her illness affects her legal capacity. Overthinking the past or informing the family will not be beneficial; rather, it may increase the mother's suffering and harm her other children. The mother should focus on her psychological treatment and caring for her other children. Repentance is always possible, even for an intentional killer, and the mother can repent and hope to meet her son in Paradise after sincere repentance, striving in acts of obedience, and caring for her children.
