What is the ruling on the wages received by employees working in a company that imports meat, after they discovered that the slaughter is carried out in an un-Islamic manner (by shooting the animal in the head with an air gun), even though the meat has obtained an Islamic slaughter certificate?

The method of stunning an animal with an air rifle bullet to its head and then slaughtering it is not considered a valid Shar'i (Islamic legal) slaughter. It is not permissible to work in an establishment that imports meat slaughtered in this manner, as it involves cooperation in selling unlawful carrion. Allah Almighty says: "And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression."
