Is it permissible to speak words of love and the like to a female cousin if there is an intention to marry her?

It is not permissible to speak to a female cousin with words of love and the like, because she is a non-mahram, and this leads to temptation. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The two eyes commit Zina, and their Zina is looking. The two ears commit Zina, and their Zina is listening. The tongue commits Zina, and its Zina is speech. The hand commits Zina, and its Zina is striking. The foot commits Zina, and its Zina is stepping. The heart desires and wishes, and the private parts either confirm or deny that." A mere desire to marry her does not permit such speech. It is recommended to hasten marriage if possible, as it is the best way to extinguish the fire of passion and maintain chastity. If marriage is not possible, one should maintain their purity.
