Do the angels not enter my daughter's room because there are imaginary cartoon drawings on its wall?

Drawing animate beings is forbidden, even if they have no likeness. However, some scholars have made an exception for children's dolls. As for angels entering a house that contains permissible images, scholars have differed on this matter. Some say it prevents angels from entering, others say it does not prevent them, and yet others say it only prevents the angels of mercy. It is preferable to efface drawings on walls, especially if they are of animals, because there is no disrespect in effacing them, and because the concession mentioned regarding children's dolls pertains to images that are in their hands for training them in household matters.
