Is it permissible in Islamic law to sell projects obtained from the government through connections to other contractors for a fee?

It is permissible for a person to sell projects that he acquired through legitimate means and that have become his property, because they have been legitimately established in his ownership and possess considerable value and benefit. However, if he acquired them through illegitimate means, then it is not permissible for him to sell them. If he acquired them through his influence and intercession for a specific person, then it is not permissible for him to take compensation for that; based on the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: "Whoever intercedes for his brother with an intercession, and he is given a gift, and he accepts it, then he has approached a great door of usury," unless he takes compensation for his effort, toil, and what he spent in acquiring them, and not for his influence.
