Is a young man considered disobedient to his father if he insists on offering a sacrifice (Uḍḥiya) individually, despite his father's refusal, who believes that one sacrifice is sufficient for the extended family?

If a son wishes to sacrifice an independent offering (udhiyah) and is able to do so, and his father has no valid reason to prevent him, then this is not an act of disobedience (uquq). The udhiyah is a confirmed Sunnah, and even obligatory according to a group of scholars. If parents were to be obeyed in the continuous abandonment of Sunnahs or obligations, where they have no valid reason for commanding the abandonment, then Allah's Shari'ah would be altered, and the rituals of religion would be lost.
