What is the ruling in the Maliki school on a traveler praying behind a resident, and a resident praying behind a traveler, and how is the prayer performed in both cases?

If a traveler prays behind a resident, he must complete the prayer. If a resident prays behind a traveler, he must complete his prayer after the Imam finishes. In the Maliki madhhab, it is preferable for a traveler not to lead a resident in prayer, and vice versa, unless it is due to age, virtue, or if the Imam is the head of the household.
