Is it true that eating the eye of a fish caught by a woman will grant her a child, and what are the legitimate (Shar'i) acts that must be performed to seek offspring?

The statement that if a woman catches a fish from a river and eats its eyes, God will bless her with a child, has no basis in the Quran or Sunnah. It is closer to superstition. The way to achieve progeny is by increasing good deeds, persistently engaging in remembrance (dhikr) and seeking forgiveness (istighfar), and humbly supplicating to Allah, such as the prayer of Zechariah (peace be upon him): "My Lord, grant me from Yourself a good offspring. Indeed, You are the Hearer of supplication," and the prayer of the servants of the Most Merciful: "Our Lord, grant us from our spouses and our offspring comfort to our eyes and make us leaders for the righteous." One must continue to exert lawful efforts and not despair of Allah's mercy.
