What are the Sharia obligations for one whom Allah has blessed with a newborn female?

Whoever is blessed by Allah with a child, whether male or female, must praise Allah and thank Him for this blessing, and know that it is a gift from Allah, as He states: "He grants to whom He wills female [children], and He grants to whom He wills males." He must also raise and care for the child well, instilling noble character and adherence to Allah's commands and avoidance of His prohibitions, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "All of you are shepherds, and all of you are responsible for your flock," and "Command your children to pray when they are seven years old." He must also provide for their sustenance, clothing, and housing, as Allah states: "And upon the father is their provision and their clothing according to what is reasonable." He must also be just and equitable among his children, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Fear Allah and be just among your children." The female child specifically requires additional care and attention due to her vulnerability.
