Is it permissible, Islamically, to eat with non-Muslim colleagues, knowing that circumstances do not allow for living alone?

The Islamic Sharia is built upon ease and the removal of hardship. Therefore, a Muslim can continue to live with their family as long as they are unable to live alone, while inviting them to Allah through their words, actions, and good treatment.
