Is the meaning from the words of people and nations, and the wording from God when He narrates their words?

The Holy Quran, in narrating recounted statements, crafts them in a manner befitting its miraculous style. It does not confine itself to quoting the exact words as they were uttered, but rather recounts the essence of the meaning. The inherent miraculousness of the recounted statements in the Quran is a miraculousness attributed to the Quran itself. The words and meanings of the Quran are from Allah; thus, the Quran is truly the Word of Allah, both in its letters and its meanings.
